We love African music, or better yet, music from Africa. African music is not a genre. There is a huge diversity of authentic beautiful styles of African music, created and played by a young generation of African artists. We have dubbed this generation The New African Sound. We believe in the potential of this new generation. We see it is being neglected and mistreated by the traditional music industry. We want to invest in it, nurture it and allow it to change the perception of the African continent on a whole.

We believe the New African Sound can reach a wide and large audience. We believe small support from a large group of people is the best way to constitute a change. This is why we apply crowd funding to build a connection between artists that represent The New African Sound and music fans with a keen interest in new music from Africa.
