Mokoomba & Gregor Salto reunite in Harare (Zimbabwe)
In the winter of 2010 young, up and coming, Zimbabweans Mokoomba received more than 3000 votes from Dutch music fans in an online competition organized by Africa Unsigned for GCAP (Global Call Against Poverty). Their prize was a ticket to the Netherlands and a chance to record with DJ/ producer Gregor Salto.
The whole process was filmed and created into a videoclip which spread across the globe in no time. Their collaboration resulted in Messe Messe, Stand Up and Umvundla.

Mokoomba on European Tour in 2012
In the summer of 2012 Mokoomba will bring Europe a roller coaster ride of raw Afrofusion energy straight out of Zimbabwe. They will tour from 25th of May until 16th of August to celebrate the release of their new album, which will be available in May 2012.

Flash Mob Gregor Salto & Africa Unsigned in Amsterdam
20 September 2011, Amsterdam – Dutch House producer/ DJ Gregor Salto unexpectedly rocked Spui square in the centre of Amsterdam on Saturday September 17th.
Sweat, blood and tears went into the production of the recordings of Gregor’s latest release featuring Zimbabwean band Mokoomba. The collaboration was financed by music fans via crowdfunding platform AfricaUnsigned.com. To celebrate the release of the EP the DJ gave a surprise performance in the centre of his home town.
