MTKIDU was formed in the pursuit of a unique sound and visual language that was honest, relevant and authentic to ourselves within a South African context.

We combine audio, design, illustration, animation and narrative in order to challenge the conventional ways of creating music and art in South Africa.

This is achieved through the creation of limited edition albums, paired with distinctive live audio and animation performances, which merge the traditional moulds of exhibition and live performance, whilst blurring the lines between art and music. "

The first step on Africa Unsigned will be $2500. For this you will receive lots of existing tracks & comics as well as new ones along the road to this $2.5k. Yes, you heard it right, not just tracks, but also comics!!! Yes you heard it right, not just 1 or 2, but lots!!!!

Once it is finished we will release some of the new tracks officially and use the money to come to Europe and do a show for you!!
