My name is Rina Mushonga I’m an Indian born, Dutch-Zimbabwean mix. 13 years ago I took to the lively stages of Harare(Zimbabwe) armed only with my guitar and a handful of songs. In the meantime I have performed at all kinds of places from street corners to clubs and festivals in countries as diverse as Australia and Eritrea to name but a few.
Now I’m ready for the next step. I’ve been selected to compete in Dutch renowned music competition the ‘Grote Prijs van Nederland’. What I really want though is to tour with my band from Zimbabwe. Although I myself will come to the Netherlands to perform at the GPNL, we will need money to set up a real tour.
I Need $5000 to get my bandmates over and kickstart the tour, and at the same time use that money to release&promote my mini-album.
To start with Africa Unsigned will release my single ‘All my ships’, so everyone will get to know my music. I will give away my single instantly to whoever supports my project with $1, so if you like it, better get it here instead of on itunes!
