Assembled in 1996 in Cape Town, South Africa. 5th Floor is a Hip-Hop Crew consisting of Camo, Kasual T who are now accompanied by a 4 piece band.

2003 saw the groups first single “Kreation” featured on the Silvertab Harambe Dope Sessions Compilation, as well as a guest appearance on Imbumba Unity. A track that was recorded with the likes of Looptroop, Timbuktu and the Spotrunnaz from Sweden, during their South African Tour.

In December 2004 the group released their debut album “Attention to Detail”, independently on Seamless Enterprise. The album featured their succesful singles from the previous year “Kreation” and “Imbumba Unity”, as well as their follow up single “Siveni” feat. Zolani Mahola of Freshlyground.

5th Floor’s Music has also graced the Soundtrack, as well as having been featured in the 2007 Graffiti documentary film “Overspray 1.0”
2009 5th Floor released their 2nd album Sex & Revolution independently on So Treal Entertainment. Look out for their single “Good Life” feat MXO as well as the video for the Right to Left sinlge coming soon. 2009 saw 5th Floor appearing alongside Hip Hop internationals Slum Village from Detroit U.S.A. on their “I Love Hip Hop” South African tour as well as the annual Artscape Theatre Hip Hop Connected ‘09… 5th Floor are also among 5 S.A. artist selected for Africa Unsigned…
